CREATE-A-THON 2022:
Tuscaloosa Children’s Theatre

 

Create-A-thon is a 24-hour pro bono PR event held annually by Capstone Agency to help local nonprofits. In 2022, I was appointed Team Lead for the Tuscaloosa Children’s Theatre.

My team was tasked with giving them some new branding (excluding their logo), rebuilding their website, creating multiple informational brochures, and revamping their social media content.

 

Brand ID

The TCT wanted to keep their original logo, but had a need for a color palette and specific fonts to use in order to have all of their content be consistent over platforms.

They also wanted to keep their original red and blue colors from their logo within their new palette. We added some softer, more relaxed colors in order to balance out the harshness of the primary tones, while keeping it playful.

We next were tasked with creating a general information brochure and a sponsor/donor information brochure.

 We created a Canva account for the TCT, and we loaded it with templates that we created. We did not want to just make graphics for them to post for the next month, we wanted to help them to create a consistent social media presence from then on. Below are some templates which we created for them. We also gave them instructions and tips for using Canva in the future.

Our other objective was the one that took the most of our 24-hour ticking clock. We had to revamp the TCT’s website and give it a fresh face.
